线棒（也称为覆塑管），是外层覆塑层中间金属层内层为防锈层的钢塑复合管，为环保金属层和塑胶层之间不使用粘合剂粘接，现在的工艺是塑胶层直接附在金属层上面。钢管的内壁为防腐蚀的涂层，标准的线棒材料直径为27.8mm±0.2mm，钢管壁厚0.7mm，0.8mm，1.0mm，1.2mm和2.0mm。线棒产品是由管件和线棒连接件组成的一种模块化系统，可以将任何创造性的想法转换成一种个性化的切合实际的结构，并且制造极其简单和迅速、低成本。
二、线棒的材料及组成
